16 Crimes reported for area since last meeting (ones not included in report relate to domestic, neighbour issues).

ASB issues relating to the area around the Pizza shop on Friday evenings, monitoring on next set of late shifts.

Allocated PCs and potential shadowing of areas meaning someone will cover at all times.

Vehicle stuck in tracks near Bowes Railway

IPod stolen from parked vehicle, located in second hand shop and offender arrested for receiving stolen goods. Offender NFA

Caller intoxicated walking home and rang police. Caller home safely

Vehicle parked up late and night and left. Vehicle was uplifted as suspect stolen from Birtley.

Vehicle parked up late and night and left. Vehicle was uplifted as suspect stolen from Birtley ( linked to above , number of vehicles stolen from auction).

Damaged to nearside door possibly keyed.

1730 :070318:0816:COMPLAINT RE SCRAMBLER 8,CLIFTON COURT
Complaint of scrambler bike riding up and down street. Possible address given and was visited by Doug Halliday. Parents of male spoken to and intelligence updated. However no evidence to suggest it was this male

Shed had three locks forced off. Leaf blower taken to the value of £50

Passenger window broken and various items taken, not of high value

Male seen moving cctv cameras so reported to police. No attempts at break in etc

Male knocked at door claiming to be collecting money for window cleaner. Male could not name window cleaner and left no other houses were knocked on.

Male asked to use Runners mobile phone. Runner refused and received abuse.

Youths hanging around pizza shop approx 11pm being rowdy and banging on peoples windows

Reviewed CCTV following reports of suspicious males from residents. Two males in dark clothing no distinctive features or clothing. Allocated to shift officers for investigation

Number of youths trying to get into people’s gardens, messing about

Passed to traffic unit for information and monitoring

Two youths in quarry aged about 11-12, left on police arrival
